The Hilltop Echo and Chardon swimming would like to recognize swimmer Amanda Cassamatta as an Athlete of the Week for January 30. Junior Amanda Cassamatta has improved greatly in 3 years as a member of the Chardon Swim Team. This year, Cassamatta took on a new challenge as she stepped in to swim Fly for the team. If winning first places doesn’t prove her amazing ability, she set a new record in the 100 Fly as well. Cassamatta has also set team records in 50 Free, 100 Free, and 200 Free and was a member of the record setting 200 IM Relay and 400 Free Relay.

The Hilltop Echo wishes Amanda Cassamatta well as she continues to set new personal and team records. Amanda Cassamatta is sure to perform well at PAC on Saturday January 28^th.
