I, MELISSA JERIC, will Dear underclassmen and incoming freshmen, It seems like four years an awful long time, trust me, we’ve all been there but it goes by faster than you think. Don’t be afraid to be yourself and stand out. People will look up to you for being confident and the people who don’t are just insecure about themselves. Don’t ever let anyone tell you how to dress or express yourself. In high school and after, you will learn who your true friends really are: They’re the friends that, when you get really excited and run down the hallway screaming like a freak, they meet you halfway doing the same exact thing without even thinking about the bizarre looks the two of you are getting.

I, ALEX JERNEJCIC, will Upcoming Freshmen: Do not rush through the years to graduate and leave as quickly as possible. Because it goes by too fast, and then you’re on your own; enjoy the times you have and carry on the “One Heartbeat” that Chardon will forever have. Be proud to be a Hilltopper and love everyone around you since you never know what tomorrow may bring.
