Frozen

Frozen

Frozen, released November 27, 2013, is an adorable Disney movie about two princess sisters Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel), secluded from civilization because of Elsa’s powers to control ice.   When they were younger, Elsa accidentally hurt Anna, and to insure that it didn’t happen again, Anna’s memories were stripped of any knowledge of her sister’s power. Because of this, the two sisters hardly communicated or interacted and the doors to the castle were barred shut. When the time came for Elsa to take the throne, a grand party was held in her honor. Anna, a young spirited girl, instantly fell in love with a visiting prince (Santino Fontana). Already struggling to control her power Elsa accidentally unleashed her power on the kingdom creating an eternal winter when asked for her blessing for her sister to wed. Elsa escaped into the mountains so she could be free.

We follow Anna on her journey to save the kingdom and bring back her sister. With plenty of snowy creatures and new friends along the way, she embarks on her quest.  With all of the twists and turns this movie is fun for the whole family with parts that every age group can relate to. The amazing animation and quality make for an amazing experience in regular or 3D.

When asked, Allison Kofol said she loved when Elsa sang the song “Let It Go” and changed her entire outfit, “I love this song!” she said as she looped the song.

Brittany Farley stated, “I bought that song as soon as I left the theater”.  Many students in the school throughout the day were playing the song or talking about the movie. This is a must see no matter what your taste in movies and it’s one that everyone can take something from.
